Gaither Mechanical Design (GMD) is a freelance drafting and design company specializing in using AutoCAD Inventor modeling software. By using 3D modeling, drawing sets are created in 2D for manufacturing release. This technology allows the customer to work more efficiently during the manufacturing process, which reduces fit and function issues. Historically, GMD has worked with clients to develop a variety of products, from a single part to proprietary equipment design (see Gallery).
